EdgeRanked’s pregame model combines team scoring with passing, rushing, receiving and team-defense outcomes, using the personnel and matchup information available when the update was built. Targets describe receiving opportunity; receptions, yards and touchdowns describe different receiving outcomes. A game total combines both teams’ scoring outcomes.
